Sharing personal information on the internet is one of the most controversial topics right now, that's because we are on a context where anybody can see what we are sharing. Im the same way, a stranger can use that data to other purposes and violate the privacity of the person who share it in the internet. In some case someone can hurt an uknown person just because he can. But at this time, there are pages that can give you information, like the adress of another people just searching his name on google. Information is power and the organizations knows that. 

Speaking about the social media, my favorite is facebook, not really for the security, just for the memes. They are a lot better than the ones in Instagram. In the social media i don't like to share information realated to my family, because i think that's personal and have nothing to do with my profile to the internet world.
